Bill’s antique career began in the last century before most of you were a gleam in your father’s eye. Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula he was one of the early pickers specializing in anything found in Kovels Antique Guide. In the mid-80s he moved to California and discovered his passion for American art and pottery. Early California pottery soon became one of his areas of expertise. William Warmboe & Co. was founded in 1993 on California Dr., Burlingame, CA. Sixteen years later he moved to Broadway Ave, Burlingame where his store is today. Currently specializing in Early (Pre-WWII) California Art, Décor and offering a vast collection of Garden City Pottery, original art, and furnishings from the Arts and Crafts, Spanish Revival and Mid Century Modern era. The Mid-Century inventory is available at Bill's space, dealer #86, at Stuff in San Francisco at 150 Valencia St.
